A despite the Fleetwood Mac , there's The Pop Group.
You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it.

B which had a distinctly retro feel.

A was a good list but the songs didn't have the same quality as B. I was puzzled by the inclusion of the Marvin Gaye b-side, there are much better songs by him.

I think B edges this one, mostly 'cos it doesn't have the hideously ugly Pop Group, and instead puts forward wonderful Todd and Cale tracks. But then there's the insipid Go-Betweens, which doesn't help.

I HOPE BOTH LISTS FALL UNDER A BUS ON THE WAY HOME

A, you've got some good stuff there.

But B, you are a beautiful person through and through. You can make comps for me any time, and are my blood-brother-or-sister throughout life.

A has some good stuff (Pepper, Dusty and Marvin - I always liked that album despite many whingeing about the production) but if that's the bread the filling in this particular sandwich is limp lettuce all the way. I like just about all of b

A is a mixed bag, B is far too careful despite being stronger track-for-track.

A for having more personality.

I like these a lot, there's personality on both and some fine picks (love the Todd on B!) but I'm going for the BCB unapproved eclecticism of A.

Yeah, B is more BCB-approved, but it's nicely ecelectic, and nothing on A (save the Pop Group) is particularly turning me on.
