We'll be meeting at Telford's Warehouse at 2pm on Saturday 17th November 2007.

Brotherlouie is doing a fucking quiz. I've never experienced a BCB quiz, but I imagine it's the kind of organised "fun" available at holiday camps and student unions nationwide, based around, in this case, a series of questions regarding lukewarm country-rock from the early seventies, the answers to which I neither know nor hope to ever learn. Should be good.

DIRECTIONS TO TELFORDS FROM THE TRAIN STATION:

As you leave the train station, go straight ahead up City Road, which runs up between the Queens Hotel and the Town Crier pub. Walk on the left hand side of the road. After a couple of minutes walk, you will notice you are crossing over the canal. Make use of the stairs running down to the canal. At the foot of the stairs you will see you are outside Harkers. We may return here later. Why not memorise the route you have just taken for later use? You may consider wondering aloud why on earth I didn't plan things so we met up here? Because, for christ's sake, wouldn't that have been simpler? You may shake your fist at the sky at this point if you so wish, but I don't recommend you take it up with me when you see me because, baby: You know I can take you. Walk along the canal so that you pass beneath City Road and keep walking for about ten minutes. You'll pass a pub called The Frog and Nightingale, go under a couple of bridges. Gradually the city will rise up around you, and the canal will be surrounded by high walls. When you reach a canal lock, under the flyover, cross over said lock, pass through the gate and walk to the road. Turn left down to the t-junction where you'll turn left again, and then go immediately right down the drive that slopes down toward the canal. Telfords is at the bottom of that drive. Now buy me a pint.

DIRECTIONS TO TELFORDS FROM THE CITY CENTRE:

So you're in the city centre, eh? Great, isn't it? Especially if you love shopping but hate cultural diversity! You need to go up Northgate Street. It's quite easy to find: it runs up from The Cross, which is the centre of the city, and goes through the town hall square, past the now derelict Odeon (it only showed blockbusters, and we still couldn't give it enough business to keep it open :( ). You will pass through the city gates (the "Northgate" in fact!), over the canal and then take the first left down Canal Street. At the bottom of Canal Street, go left, and then immediately right down the sloping drive. Telfords is at the bottom of that drive. Now buy me a pint.

DIRECTIONS TO TELFORDS FROM LABURNUM HOUSE:

First, punch yourself in the face as hard as you can. Now, Laburnum House sits at the bottom of a u-shaped road bending round the old coach station. As you look at the old coach station, go left so that the coach station is on your right, and the canal on your left. At the crossroads, go straight ahead down Canal Street. At the bottom of Canal Street, go right, and then immediately left down the sloping drive. Telfords is at the bottom of that drive. Now buy me a pint.

If anybody wants my mobile number, in case you get lost or you want to hook up for no strings sex at a later date, feel free to PM me.

Sounds like the same directions they gave Theseus when he got to the Cretan labyrinth.

Does this mean your meeting at the 'Bulls Head'

It means on the writing directions front, DJ Ango is half able - sounds like a minor tour to me.
