Home safely now after a weekend that took in a trip to our up and coming home - Worksop. Felt a bit dodgy at a bout 6am, but some Nurofen, Crucnhy nut Corn Flakes and fried eggs sorted thout.

Great to see everyone. I will post the quiz in YY for others to see and I might even re-mark the papers. I think Frank and Banksy did even better than the score they posted.

Thanks DJ Ango ( ;) ) for putting this together. Hope everyone is feeling top.

Credit where credit's due: that should read Frank, Banksy and everyone they texted for answers.

You text one person.....
It was Griff n'all. Fekkin useless wastrel HE is.

Any how thanks to all concerned for the weekend. Mrs K Balls and I thouroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the marvellous breakfast on arrival to the final cup of tea Sunday evening. Django and his far lovelier and nicerer wife Jolene were pefect hosts.
Great to catch up with everyone again, hopefully we will see some of you in Dubly in January. I shall be gracing the London December bash with my prescence and also a supply of the latest badges courtesy of Bro'loo.
Review of comps to follow.

Absolutely nothing to do with the JU, but can I be the first to do the 'Worksop, Doc?' gag here?

Thank you. :)

You could, if it were indeed a gag. Which it isn't, so you can't.

I am suitably contrite.

Posting multiple pictures isn't a lot of fun is it? Anyway......

Image
Here we see Sensi, Evil Dave, Heilan Coo and Miss Sweden. Note imminent weird reaction to facial hair from the boy Coo.

Image
More attention seeking "I'm a rockabilly, me" behaviour from Jumper K.

Image
Witchypoo notes that Sensi gets lovelier with every passing day. Sensi, in turn, relishes the attention.

Image
Coo learns that the "butch" look doesn't work for everyone....

Image
... and so tries to impress Grollope and Miss Sweden with his Max Bygraves impression.

Image
DWD, who is being very rude, and Jumper K.

Image
The camera loves Kid P

Image
This is it! Grollope is leaving, and I am wishing him a safe journey. He responds, of course, with his trademark "zany" humour. Oh, Grollope!

Image
See how adoringly Witchypoo looks at Corporate Whore. Note on this picture, Brotherlouie's back is turned, and he is blocking Corporate Whore. That's two beardy-weirdy faces I have saved you from having to look at in one picture. I am truly a gifted photographer.

Image
Brotherlouie strong like mighty oak. Corporate Whore doubtful like mighty cynic.

Image
Yep, Bryan, you were right, that didn't work.

Image
A lovely (slightly pissed) couple.

Image
A great picture of my good friend Da.... Oh, Bryan! Why've you got to spoil everything!! :x

I am so very glad I went home early because that is the face of a very pissed up husband and...had I been out...he would have severely done my head in...he'd had nowt to eat all day other than the lovely breakfast our host made for us...thank God I was tucked up in bed by that time...what a plank :|

Big thanks to Weave and Jolene for looking after us.
Another great day out perfectly ending with an impromptu game of frisbee in the pub car park at 11.30p.m in the dark and pissing down rain and in a gale force wind. Hardcore.

also good to meet DWD, another top bloke.
