It was lovely to see you all.

Thanks to those who came from far away.

Plans for me to amble with folks on the High Line tomorrow may have been overly ambitious in light of my stupid arthritic hip, but please do enjoy!

Me too. It might have happened except that Rebecca and I have a big trip through the Southwest in October including a stop in Austin.

A great time in NYC finishing off with a few drinks with Prof, Nancy, Minnie and Harvey last night. Now off to check out Portland Maine for a couple of days.

Apologies for not making it! I pinched a nerve in my neck (not an uncommon occurrence in the last 20 years and not much to be done about it unfortunately), kept hoping it would settle down over the course of the day but had to concede defeat in the end.

You would have fit right in with Snarfy's arthritic hip and my sprained ankle! But seriously, feel better.

It was truly great seeing everyone!

It really was. It really, really was.
I’m a bit watery eyed about leaving.
Though that might just be my liver splitting into quadrants and floating off into the distance.
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.
