So was the Great Fire of London a gold heist or a false flag operation to start another crusade to Syria?

Sounds like we could be in for what Googs called a "heated" discussion a couple of posts back

Alright, but the one time I expressed my skepticism about the mass migration to Europe, I was called all sorts of nasty things.

Wasn’t intended as a dig at you, G, it was a joke based on the fact that fires produce heat and any discussion of conflagrations are likely to be heated as a result

Honestly Jimbo I've got only one comment:
So you believe big business owners are more honest than scientists?

Since many of you are too scared or too ignorant to comment on whether what we are told by our media and our governments is true or not I thought I'd state my opinion and get some discussion going. I'd have chimed in earlier but you all probably know where I stand - anti-big media/govt - and so I waited for someone else to trip the wire. That ain't happening. So going down the list of topics in the poll I'll start at the top with whether I believe the Venezuela narrative, that Maduro is a socialist dictator and Juan Guaido is the legitimate president of Venezuela.

I think I had heard that the 2019 election which Maduro had won was deemed kosher by election observers. Using Google, however. it seems the answer varies depending on which media outlet I consulted. The usual gang of MSM don't like Maduro and say the election was rigged when he changed the voting days. Whatever, the military and the supreme court seem to like him enough. A leftie/conspiracy site I like came up with a surprisingly tepid endorsement for Maduro by saying this election was no more corrupt than an American election.

Nonetheless, I stand today with Maduro mostly because I'd rather a socialist revolution win the day than a Obama/Trump contrived corporatist coup taking over. Watch Max Blumenthal shoot that dumb position down.

Jim Sciutto ✔
@jimsciutto

Let’s please ban the word “narrative” from our discussion of the news and this president. There is only one version of the facts and the truth. Full stop.

Since I'm not sure what the "official" narrative is in almost any of these cases, I'm boycotting this poll.

No I don't think they are able to control my mind. But I do think the fascist Commie bastards on both sides of the Atlantic do indeed try.

All righty. Moving down the poll one notch we arrive at Syria/Assad where the official story is that President Assad is a brutal dictator who gasses his own people and must be overthrown by "moderate rebels" whom we've trained and armed. Naturally I don't buy it because reporters and pundits who know better and look a little deeper into the story say otherwise, that Assad is not gassing his own people and that it's the rebels who are staging these attacks in order to blame Assad. Yes, I know that "false flag" attacks sound icky to you BBC/Guardian following types but they do happen and they happen often in Syria, especially when they are allied and defended by RUSSIA! Agree? Disagree?

What's the official story about Clinton then?
He was voted in on a wave of popularity. Lied to the American public about Monica Lewinski. Had some dodgy dealings with a property company in the 90s though none of it stuck and is still generally (though not overwhelmingly) well thought of.

Many of Clinton's scandalous doings took place before and after his time in the WH. In light of current events it is notable that he was good friends with Jeffery Epstein and flew on his private jet 26 times. There is more about the Clinton-Epstein friendship in the article below. The article clarifies the Mena, Arkansas airport story when Bill was governor and how he surely knew about the CIA gun and drug running program.

The Syrian conflict is a religiously based one between Shiite Muslims (Assad & company) and Sunni Muslims. Since I have a fundamental mistrust of any and all religious fanatics and regard the Syrian conflict as the proverbial tar baby, I'd stay well out of that pestilence ridden rat hole.

Plus his campaign was generously supported by the Communist Chinese with whom he was all too cozy.
