A does a rather uncanny job of picking tracks I might have picked. I think I have used those Silver and Cobham tracks previously, in fact, and I certainly considered a newer Perrett one. The Laibach's a bit dull, and ACR is a bit grating, but other than that it's pretty consistent.

B finishes strong (and I still love Cymande, though they're getting to be BCB canon), but doesn't quite overcome the weak spots.

Again two really strong lists drawn together - sorry about this folks!
Much to enjoy in both lists. A goes straight to my pleasure zones with 'Song to my Father' and 'Stratas', that's grade A stuff ( and it also performs the unlikely task of picking the only George Michael solo track I really like). As for B 'Indian Rope Man' is an old favourite and thanks for introducing me to 'Subway Joe', that's a great track.
Tough..but A just.

Many interesting tracks on both, but I'll go with A for a bit more daring selection of tracks.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

That's a smart Lou choice. And I liked the George Michael, surprisingly, and there are one or two other good ones. I don't get why people go on about Peter Perrett, though - that's pretty ordinary, that.

B, well, it's got Stereolab again but it's a more imaginative selection. Some other familiar faces like Cymande and Pixies, but that Driscoll et al is good fun. Not sure why you'd pick that Willie Hobbs of all the twenty million soul obscurities out there, though: it's very average. Some nice dub to finish.

A close one. A for its more personal feel, I think.

Mixed bags here - but good things on both, in keeping with most rounds. I’m swaying towards the riskier A despite the Laibach.

Despite the fabulous Horace Silver and Billy Cobham, B gets this one on points. 'Subway Joe' is such a fine track.
