All I had to do was listen to 10 seconds of Paul Young's LWTUA and the vote went immediately to A.

A's initial choices were exquisitely painful, but I fear that the new five aren't dreadful enough (having said that, I clicked on the lick for that German rap track, and it really is rotten). On the other hand, B is getting significantly worse, with the ever-punchable Kid Rock, that unspeakable Vengaboys nonsense and a putrid match-winning horror from Jim Diamond.

I vote for B - a list on heavy rotation in all of hell's elevators....

B is mostly rotten, but there are two or three tracks there that aren't quite so revolting. One or two are actually palatable. A is just utter filth from start to finish.

Close, but B for me. You can do way worse than Land Down Under.
Freak out. Far out.

A especially for picking Genesis who are to the Bizzaro cup what a Stooges selection is to the BCB cup. Also kudos for picking the preposterous Men At Work, they can stick their vegemite sandwich up their arse.

Tough call. I was thinking B had some songs that weren't too bad, then they picked this lot. Ouch. Both clearly did some homework too, but I think A is more consistently bad. But B's newest 5 is worse than A's, Nickelback or no.

Indeed, and he's also picked Boyz II Men's "On Bended Knee," which is actually painful to listen to. It was a tossup between this and "I'll Make Love to You" if I made it into the second round, so kudos to the poster for picking it. There's something quite unbelieable about that group- not only were they turgid, they were also ludicrously sentimental and actually quite insulting in their "sensitive" view of women. At least even the most moronic of gangsta rappers are usually honest in their bigotory, loathsome as it might be. Truly sickening. I think I need to have a shower now.

B
It's before my time but I've been told, he never came back from Karangahape Road.

Two "proper" lists here. Wall-to-wall shit. The new choices are equally vile. The "Anfield Rap" still conquers all for me.

B, A having soured an otherwise good list with that Grandma shite. In fact from now on I will officially vote against anyone who just plumps for the way-too-obvious rubbish (like the Jason and Kylie in that other match)

A's gone for the "if I slip something involving Phil Collins in, everyone should surely vote my way" route. Silly A.

B has less obviousness.
