I guess I need to hurry up and vote. Any chance that matches in future rounds can be staggered over the course of a week or so?
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

I was aiming for one round per week and based on discussions in past cups I thought it was important that they ran over the weekend since a lot of people don't check BCB on weekdays. I suppose there are people who don't check BCB on weekends too....
I don't have a problem extending the voting time by an additional day or two for round one, but then everyone needs to get me there next five tracks ASAP....Like NOW because I really want to kick off Round 2 on Friday morning.
If I extend round one from 72 hours by an extra day that would mean the first eight matches end Wednesday, 12:33am - 12:37am MST (7:33 - 7:37 AM Wednesday GMT). and the second eight end Thursday morning... I'm fine with that as 16 matches, 320 tracks is a lot of music to listen to...
I could even extend it by two days.... with the first eight matches ending on Thursday at 12:33 a.m. MST and the second eight matches ending Friday at 12:23 a.m..
I just didn't think it would be necessary to go beyond the usual 48 hours for the subsequent rounds after this first round since there's only eight lists this coming weekend, then four next weekend and then two and it's done.
I don't have any problem with listing the entire new round on Friday mornings and letting the round run through Thursday morning so long as everyone gets me their next tracks on time.
Being on time is really the key to the benefits package with this puppy.

I don't want a two-day extension. One, at most.

I'll need a few more days to petition my cronies and register a handful of new aliases.

Re: ROUND 2 - Participants please read
Doesn't matter if you're going through. Send them. I plug them in to an excel spreadsheet and reformat any issues with links in advance. I can easily delete the losers from that but I don't want a late start due to lists not coming in again. It's easy for me to add the tracks and delete them if you don't go through or qualify for the next match up. And I need time to fix the links and do my D16 match up method with each. The sooner I get the lists the better.

Re: ROUND 2 - Participants please read
Okay so I updated the top message here to show accurate info.
By request ROUND ONE has an additional 24 hour extension! So 96 hours.
Thus
Matches 1-8 will end on Wednesday February 15 12:33am - 12:37am MST (7:33 - 7:37 AM Wednesday GMT). Matches 9-16 will end on Thursday February 16 12:38am - 12:41am MST (7:38 - 7:41 AM Thursday GMT)
Participants should get me their next five tracks ASAP. Doesn't matter if you're going through or not, just send them to me so I can stick them in an excel spreadsheet and reformat any issues with links in advance. The sooner I get the lists the better because I'm kicking off Round 2 dark and early on Friday morning.

My five are in, and Thank You!
You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it.
