Looks like I'll be in the Galapagos Island coming February! Sifting through the travel options I'm just wondering if anyone has got any preferences for which islands are the most interesting to visit? I'm probably going island-hopping and so far San Cristobal and Isabela come with the best recommendations.
Anyone have any advice as to what company to book?

I think Linton Zoo has galapagos torts. They are part of the breeding programme.

I'll be visiting the Darwin research facility there which does the same. Should be very interesting!

Galapagos Islands
Shark finning is disgusting. We came across a fishing boat in Indonesia with hundreds of fins drying on deck - they tried to hide them, but we got pictures and turned them in to the Indonesian coast guard. Unfortunately, it doesnt take much of a bribe to avoid prosecution in 3rd world countries, really sad.
The Galapagos Islands are on my short list for places I have to see, sounds like the sooner, the better, before this unique ecosystem is lost forever.
