At the age of 57 I had my first pickled egg. I rather liked it ( maybe better a little warm).

It's an unofficial, slang one.
I'll stick with penes, assuming I ever need to talk about more than one ;)

Just read an e-mail form a friend in Armenia concerning the conflict there involving a slew of players including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia.....

Some info here: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-54407436

I was not aware of the amplitude of the problem.

Whenever I used to see people doing yoga on the beach I used to think ha ha, wanker. Now I've just been at the beach for a few days and did yoga at sunrise every morning on the beach and it felt fucking wonderful so now I'm the fucking wanker, but at least now I understand what makes people want to be beach yoga wankers.

What the origin of "eighty six/to eighty six" is :

A Hollywood soda-jerker forwards this glossary of soda-fountain lingo out there … “Shoot one” and “draw one” is one coke and one coffee … “Shoot one in the red!” means a cherry coke … An “echo” is a repeat order. “Eighty-six” means all out of it.
Walter Winchell, Courier-Post (Camden, NJ), 23 May 1933

I've heard the term in Las Vegas bars but just thought it was peculiar to the bar/city.
