It’s not a chipmunk? Not familiar with rock squirrels although ground squirrels sound familiar. *off to google land*
Edit, wow! They get really big. Deffo not a chipmunk or a ground squirrel. Not sure I’ve ever seen one.

I’ve just confirmed with the neighbourhood wildlife gang and yeah it’s a rock squirrel.
You come at the Queen, you best not miss.

One of my pension plans I manage has a terminated employee who was part of the 1/6 attack on the capital. The owner doesn't want him to get his money. Sadly, we had to tell the owner he must be allowed to take it. Believe the guy is going to jail.

I played drums with a singer/songwriter I met at the open mic I’ve been attending. I’ve never been in a position of making up my own parts for drums. A new frontier! It went pretty good. He liked my drumming and we plan on continuing when we’re both available. Interesting playing drums with acoustic guitar but I’m up for it.

I got to do a little hands on experience making koji for the sake making process today with the saké maker that works for my cider making friend. Fascinating stuff. The koji will be ready on Monday so I’m going to return for the next step.

Koji stalled a little but it’s ready now. Saké making will resume on Friday. I hope to be available for that.
I had my third session drumming for that singer/songwriter I met. So far so good.

Re: MORE random stuff about your day
My day is totally ruined!
I just read about something that I could have celebrated big time yesterday but totally missed the mark on.
Yesterday, 12/02/2021, is a fairly rare palindrome, it reading the same backwards and forwards (of course). But it also reads the same upside down!!!
Woe is me, alas!
Not really, but I love sh*t like this.

I know eh? Maybe we'll have 24 months per year by 2222? 22/22/2222 would look very cool indeed.

I actually noticed the palindrome but had no idea it also worked upside down so my smugness has turned to irritation.
