The HBO series is very good indeed.
A worthy successor to Alan Moore’s peerless graphic novel - which is saying quite a lot. In a world of pitiful DC and Marvel bollocks it really is head and shoulders above.
Highly Recommended.

Re: Watchmen
Absolutely stunning show.
Be interesting to see what Alan Moore (who has long been dead against film/TV adaptations of his work - and doesn't have a credit here - thought.
Looks as if HBO are going to respect Damon (Lost, The Leftovers) LIndleof's desire to not proceed with a second series. Given how some series have been fucked up by outstaying their initially rapturous welcome - Homeland and, um, Lost itself - this would seem to be a very wise (and commercially brave) decision.

Re: Watchmen
I was a little unsure after the first 2 episodes, but now up to episode 5 and it has really hit its stride and is probably the best Alan Moore adaption ever, which seeing as it isn't an Alan Moore adaption seems a bit odd, but it is pretty faithful to the original subject matter and even more so to Moore's spirit.
Veidt catapulting butlers into the air was hilarious, plus lovely Penrhyn Castle setting, Jeremy Irons was obviously loving hamming that up.
And was that a massive blue Dildo that the ex Silk Spectre lady from the government carries around in her bag?

Can you get nowTV? They have all sky shows as box sets and you can normally get a free 7-day introductory trial. Even if there’s no free intro, a one-month subscription a la Netflix will only cost around a Tenner.

I'll have a look. I've never heard of it so I don't know if it's available in Spain. Thanks for the tip either way.
