DaMarcus Cousins is going to play some G-league games in Santa Cruz early next week, same time as Draymond returns, and then play with the Warriors.

Watch out, NBA.

Golden State Warriors were chosen as Sports Illustrated's sportsperson of the year. Only four other times, have teams been chosen over people. Those were the US hockey team in '80, the US women's soccer team, the '04 Boston Red Sox and now the Warriors.

Toronto cleaned the Warriors clocks last night and they deserved it. Without Kawhi.

The night after they decimated the Clippers, who have a good team.

It was tough watching, a lot of careless passing and a general lack of enthusiasm, especially no one really seeming to hustle for the offensive rebounds, but yeah Toronto are top notch - they seem to be a better team without Kahwi than with him!

I didn't think the Bucks would have the best record in the league at this stage.

They were a good team held back by Kidd who couldn't coach his way out of a nutsac. Now they have a decent coach and the continued maturation of Giannis and it all adds up. They're pretty fun to watch, the Bucks and Denver probably my two favourite teams to watch this year. I have a feeling I'd say Sacramento as well if I'd seen more of their games.

Hard to argue that.
Curry was crap for 5 1/2 games but did he came good in that last half.

Fear the deer though. I think lack of depth will hurt the Warriors in the long run although I still have them as the favorites.

Frank Vogel becomes Lakers coach????
Even if he's got a winning record overall, I don't picture him very much as the one to get the Lakers to something near a top side again.

Kidd being assistant is a good call though.

Kidd is a moron. Lebron is the Lakers coach and GM.

Other than the dislocated finger in the first round I'm not sure what's going on with Curry unless his earlier injuries are still nagging him a bit but he did come through when it really mattered, ditto Thompson. I don't think depth is a real issue for them especially if and when Cousins and KD return.

I don't think Cousins is coming back this season. Durant will play at some point in the next round probably, but we'll have to wait in what condition he comes back. I still think they're going to win it all, but it's going to be more competitive than the last couple of years.

GS doesn't need Cousins to win but w/o KD it could be problematic. Not for Portland but to win the final.

8-)

Admittedly this is as far as they are likely to go, but second overall is a pretty decent performance.

It looks like Cousins might have been the difference between W/L last night. As expected, he was able to return for the finals. Once Durant returns Toronto is toast. The games could be close but GS will prevail.

A lot of pressure on GS tonight without Klay Thompson. They'll need a lot of help from the bench to pull it off.

Well that didn't work out so well for GS. Cousins was terrible and D. Green wasn't much better. Curry can't win ot all by himself. Hopefully Klay and Kevin will be back on Friday.
