A little free dashboard widget that plays the (youtube) video to the song you're playing in iTunes.

VirtualBox, a free PC emulation tool.

http://www.virtualbox.org/

It does the same sort or thing as Parallels or VmWare Fusion, but it's free. It's produced by Sun Microsystems, so shouldn't suddenly disappear. Intel Mac only, of course.

There's versions for Windows (XP and Vista) and Linux too.

Mentioned in this month's Macworld.

A DVD cataloguing thing. It's a bit slow, but fun to mess with.

It's a public beta, and therefore could be a bit buggy in places. However the beta version has been made available to registered developers for some time now, so most of the bugs should have been stomped on.

Safari 4 does seem to fix rendering problems I've had with some websites in the past. I can now browse the various Johnston Press local newspaper sites without sections disappearing underneath each other, for example.

I've had to uninstall the Safari 4 beta as it's just not stable enough at the moment to be useful. There appears to be an intermittent problem loading new pages.

Say what?! I'm fucking clueless on this thing!
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

Got it sorted, btw.

I am having problems with playing DVDs with different region codes. I have downloaded VLC several times but it will only play DVDs with the same regional coding as that my Mac is set for. Is there any way of overriding/switching off the regional coding limitations in a Mac?
I could be wrong. I usually am.

Replacing your DVD drive firmware with a hacked region-free version is the usual solution, but not all drives have hacked firmware available.

My iTunes won't open when I click the icon. Luckily, it will open only when I connect my player to the computer. I read some fixes for the problem but I can't understand the jargon. Little help. please.
