External HD Advice.

Can anyone recommend a good 1TB external hard drive?

Preferably something that is portable rather than designed for a desktop.

The Seagate looks good @ around £50.

No, because I wouldn't buy anything under 2 Tb.

bought a 8 TB some weeks ago
config a raid 1 set up so only 4 TB, but will work for now
better safe than sorry

My dream is for a NAS that I can Raid and expand as required but I can't afford that right now.
