Whilst trawling through my mp3s I found an acoustic version of Paula Abdul's Straight Up. Much better than the original, in my opinion.
Searching on Google just brings up some bloke from American Idol, but it's not him as the version I've got has a female vocal.
Anyone know who it's by?

Jenny Boyle's version from Life in Mosaic is excellent, but is a bit country rock to be the one you refer to, I imagine.
