Finally found his way home.
79. I'm always surprised how old those musicians are, which is pretty stupid of me, because I'm getting up there as well.
There's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over

Very sad- he galvanized my appreciation for electronic music when I watched the series Cosmos in the 70s and his music was used for themes everywhere.
Really liked his last couple of albums too.
RIP maester.

It was Cosmos that introduced his music to me too, also Pulstar was used as theme tune for a Children's program and I always thought it was an amazing theme tune. I was delighted to discover what it was when I bought a Best of Vangelis album that covered his four RCA albums and Pulstar was the opening track. I ended up buying those RCA albums and was hooked.

He was incredibly diverse and could turn his hand from to anything from the most accessible of tunes to more difficult works and sometimes just flat out bizarre experiments. He is my favourite electronic artist of all.

RIP

One of our tv-stations used Dervish D as the opening tune for a game called Telecross- during that time there were a lot of adverts for this LP
