Well, I think we just ran out of Doobs!

Mr. Hamilton : Would you make me a Waldorf Salad?
Basil Fawlty : [having never heard of it] I beg your pardon?
Mr. Hamilton : Get me a Waldorf Salad.

A friend and me spent a silly half hour once writing lyrics involving vegetable puns. Ah, sixth form days.

It all makes sense, man - the way it all connects and comes round to the very beginning again, man - it's really weird.

Because they've got no stones.

A great vibe

Wikipedia says he did not rejoin Man until September 1975.

But the album credits no keyboard player.

Hmmmm...

Mystery solved.

Last night I watched the Rockpalast DVD from April that year, the same month as the Maximum Darkness bonus tracks. Deke has a keyboard setup he goes to when playing some of his songs like Hard Way To Die from Slow Motion. On C'mon he first plays guitar, later in the song moves to keyboards, and returns to guitar for the end of the tune.

As well as his legendary modified Telecaster, Deke plays a Gibson SG, as does Mickey.

The Tele was stolen in the 1990s:
