How so?
Beirut - Nantes
Their 1st 2 albums seemed to break new ground and Zac Condon was a music media darling for a while, but the star seems to have fizzled somewhat.
Still love those 1st 2 albums.
While Zac's first two albums are the best I like them all. No No No is their worst.
Been a fan since the beginning. I red a review before the first album came out and that Jeremy Barnes (NMH) was in the band and went to see their first public show(according to my friends who know them they played a bunch of parties and private shows prior). I was blown away by the whole sound and style of music they were playing. I've seen them 9 times since and always a good show. I've heard Zac can be a handful.
Beirut - May 2006 - First show
About a year later they played at Bowery Ballroom and half of Arcade Fire members joined them on stage with a bunch of other players (22 members in all) for a trippy encore.
Got to love a guy who has a french horn as a tatoo
