So, which is your fave Purple studio album then folks?

In Rock. It was first. I had heard Shades and maybe more but In Rock was my first purchase. It was new at the time.

Fairly sure I've previously relayed the information that a school friend of mine regularly baby sat for Jon Lord. She was adamant that his collection of albums was totally classical music, though sadly I can't verify that through personal observation.

he LOVED classical. have ya ever heard that solo album of his when he just goes offffff in that kinda goth-classical mode?

Sarabande? Listened to it when deliberating which albums to nominate, enjoyed it a good deal.


Been a long while since I heard Gemini Suite, can't remember much of it at all.

Concerto for Group and Orchestra is a bit hit and miss though....
