Looks very nice, already got their two albums though, so shan’t be buying this, what do the extra 2 records sound like?

As a newcomer to The Trees I'm probably not the best person to ask. A mix of radio broadcasts (very much cleaned up apparently), demos and recent live material from original band members and like minded folkies, which sounds very nice but I imagine not essential even if you're a big fan.

Is this the 40th anniversary set, with the full range of different covers, looks nice, if so?

Bought this album when it first came out, following 'New Boots.....'. Some good tracks on it but I felt it was a bit of a disappointment after 'New Boots......' What are your thoughts about it?

Just the bog standard original LP, with that cover variation, bought on day of release some 40+ years ago.

It's more polished than New Boots but I love it!

As Tommy The Talking Toolbox says....For all the family to enjoy!!

Always found it hard to listen to Lennon’s solo stuff, following Imagine, now even more so. This will do for now.

Currently reading the ‘The Lives of John Lennon’ by Albert Goldman, doesn’t paint a great picture of him. I know it’s been around for years but a friend gave it to me some time ago and I’ve only just around to reading it.

Not often I listen to soul music but sometimes it fits the bill.

I read that at the end of last year. It's a bit 'pinch of salt' stuff but an interesting read.
There are some wild assumptions and links made but like any story there will be some truth in the distortion.

I'm beginning to sound like Jimbo :?

Got this on CD somewhere but for once my filing system has let me down, I'll have to find it. Do have Loveless on LP though - never been entirely convinced about it. Haven't they just reissued the two of them or is that yet to happen?

Is your 'Loveless' LP an original pressing? Big money for that if it is.

Domino have put out a re-release of 'Isn't Anything', 'Loveless' and 'M B V' and an 'EP's and Rare Tracks' CD.

Nice repressings.

Not sure, I bought it second hand for peanuts a long time ago, I’ll have to check.

NP: Between the Buttons

Was a little disappointed in this album when I first bought it in the mid 60s. Following hot on the heels of Aftermath I thought it a little lightweight and too poppy. Of course, grown to love it as the years passed by, great album.
