Of course! As long as your friend knows his place.

Just asking for a friend.

There will, of course, be a roped off section for true doyens, but there will be space for the plebeians to mingle and look on as their betters hold court.

Which hotel? I've been checking around a bit: it seems Sofitel is only an 8-minute crawl from the venue. I might book a room there for a couple of nights.
Planning to arrive Thursday AM, fly back Sunday PM. Subject to COVID-related developments

Somebody please send me Neil's E-maul address. I've lost it, which I know is unforgivable, but that's what it is. I'd so much like for him to attend. I'll pick him up in Michigan if I have to, seriously. One of the nicest people I've met in the past 60 years.

I'll probably be in the thick of chemo and possibly not at my best. [I actually look stunningly handsome at the moment!]

Chemotherapy has some odd side effects which I wouldn't want to flare up and end up arse/ass over tit on a tube train.

An option, but an expensive one, is to come by cab, possibly with the boss

Trouble is I'm not sure the effort is worth it for you bunch of tossers - I can recall detailed conversations with both Muddy and Rich and neither of the fucquers even know who I am!

Not sure I'm boverred

No, twice at most. I've been to 2 get-togethers: the first one, and one I think at the same place we're meeting up now. It was somewhere between early 2004 and end 2006. During that period I was in The Netherlands trying to recover from my tropical years, and we (very old mate Jimmy Jazz and I) traveled by Eurostar which then ended at Waterloo Station. Great way to get around but with an open bar the traveling time is just too much. The result is that I don't remember much of that extravaganza, except for that Genesis Live album as quiz price. If you were there you've met me twice.

Yes - that's it Muddy - twice.

It was such a memorial encounter that it just seems double the value

One of the things we talked about was Zappa's Live at the Fillmore and some stories associated with that.

Robust stuff!

I had to change my travel plans due to some work-related fun. Flying to The Netherlands March 28th. Will take the Eurostar to London (only 3.5 hours from Rotterdam these days, no need to change trains in Brussels anymore). Not sure if I'll do this April 1st or the 2nd itself. Sort of depends on when this little shindig is supposed to kick-off. Has a time been set?
