A is a fairly safe selection but it's more than done enough here.

A just keeps right on doing it, even managing to find Pixies and Sonic Youth songs I like. And the better Clash song too. No offense to B, which is a solid list, but A continues to impress.

List A:
Killing Joke - The Wait - :D
Massive Attack - Teardrop - :)
Culture - Two Sevens Clash - No strong feeling.
Pulp - Babies - :)
Wire - 12XU - :)
Ben Folds - The Luckiest - No strong feeling.
Candi Staton - Young Hearts Run Free - Kinda rips off "Knock Three Times" by Tony Orlando and Dawn.
Television - Marquee Moon - Inarguably great.
The Wailers - Out Of Our Tree - Serviceable garage rock with sort of a "Satisfaction" riff. I just listened to the first song.
Buzzcocks - Autonomy - Not as good as "Orgasm Addict" or others.
Pixies - Wave Of Mutilation -
John Grant - GMF -
The Beat - Two Swords - :)
Sonic Youth - Sunday - There are better SY songs, but this will do. :)
The Clash - Safe European Home - :)

List B:
Troy Von Balthazar – Heroic Little Sisters - :|
Cabaret Voltaire – Low Cool - Bores me forever.
Alex Chilton – Like Flies on Sherbert - No. Not for me.
Terry & Marsha – :)
Cockney Rebel – Psychomodo - :D
Aaron Neville – Hercules - :D
The Durutti Column – Otis - :)
Little Junior’s Blue Flames – Feelin’ Good - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azaMkrna0KU
Art Brut – Axl Rose -
Shirley Collins – Richie Story - :)
Sparklehorse – Ghost in the Sky - :)
Vancouvers – Say You Will Wait - :D
The Clash – Somebody Got Murdered - :D
The Snivelling Shits – Only 13 -
James Brown – Nothing Beats a Try but a Fail - :D

I don't think A is all that. But it wins this contest. A

A is just so narrow, you feel you could almost predict the next 5, and contains a whole load of stuff I never quite "got". Beat and Clash are great of course and I like the John Grant (though not as good as the Czars track in my list :D ). Just appears to be a bit more thoughy to B.

i didn't vote for either of these last round. i like the pixies and the clash in the new five of A. i still think the list overall is consistent. but the criticisms others have are the same i still have. it feels like a certain kind of narrower, targeted BCB playbook to me. if it's yer thing and yer sweet bullseye, groovy. it's only partly mine.

B is uneven but it has much more range and variety. i like 4 of the 5 new additions.

Another very underwhelming matchup. A in this match is a carbon copy of A in the last match. B is just not really very good. This shit is ruining my Saturday evening!

B is great and wins easily here for me. I love that Sparklehorse track.
