Where are yours?
It's kinda depressing for a music forum to be proud of not knowing musicians.

I watched them recently. I think, for me, the "Racer X" sub-plot has a lot to do with it.
same with Kimba -- those shows are really kind of heavy for kids. guilt, responsibility - that sort of thing.

ten right off the top of my head:
Prisoner
Star Trek
Car 54, Where Are You?
Twilight Zone
Outer Limits
Untouchables
Beverly Hillbillies
Get Smart!
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Peter Gunn (or Perry Mason - throw up the coin)

I'm not trying to be an old stick in the mud. I like lots of newer shows. but, these shows have been with me a long time and had a lot to do with the screwed up sort of character I turned out to be.

In fact, I could do another list of ten without batting an eye and they'd probably be all old corny stuff too.

Oh, I left off Green Acres but I want to call it "Kafka for Kids" anyway.

I thought little kids had short attention spans. Those shows are so long and the plots are so thin; it's hard to believe they engage children, they're so boring. I used to like Kimba too, but I guess I won't bother revisiting it.

Some memories of this are coming back to me. I thought it was outstanding and brilliant at the time. I'll have to have a good shufty on line to see if I can track it down in some format.
I've just watched the eulogy on YouTube.

It was one of those mini-series that BBC2 used to pull out of the bag - Phil Daniels was in it as a bulemic food critic.

Really gripping stuff
