A is struggling bravely on despite the Ryan Adams/LondonBeat handicap. Good new five especially the Poco track. Choosing the Who's version of "Leaving Here" rather than the Birds puts me off B.

Of the new tracks that Glen Campbell/Jimmy Webb track is unimpeachable. But so too is It Should Have Been Me by Yvonne Fair. A sort of updated Shotgun Wedding with soul.

Ryan Adams is everything his detractors say he is, but some of those tunes from Heartbreaker are undeniable. To Be Young is one of them.

That said, there is some genuinely weird shit on list A and B appears wellcrafted.
