I don't think your scenario is a given, Rore - we are technically no longer a member of the SPL (Ross County attended the last SPL meeting at the end of May, not us) and I don't think the SPL rules allow for any specific scenario other than a club going bust mid-season.
When Gretna went bust they had already finished the season bottom and been relegated.
