Collapsed with no one around him. Sounds possibly like the incidents where players have died before. Obviously hope this isn't the case. Thoughts go out to him.

Seems the hospital are saying he is now in a stable condition. Let's hope so.

I was out in Chorley this morning, where there are a fair few Bolton fans wearing Muamba shirts today and it is poignant indeed.
Sending him and his family all good wishes and strength at this horrible time, he is certainly in the best place he can be.

Hope there's some good news soon. How awful for his family, and everybody who was there at the match. At least he'll be getting the best care possible.

I hope the lad's OK. It's horrible when something like this happens. When i heard the news, myself and my friends assumed the worst, but i hope we're wrong.

Very sad news (about Kelly's father).

Fingers crossed for Muamba. I suspect no news is good news.

Reports are Muamba is showing 'small signs of improvement'. Still in critical condition, but that's surely a small bit of hope.

I was chatting to my ma about it this morning and she reckons due to the lack of oxygen to the brain he'll most likely have brain damage. Which could be a range of things.

Amazing interview just on Sky with Patrice Muamba. Wow, that really does bring a lump to the throat.
