The singer is an absolute idiotic alcoholic. I got sick of his pissed up arguments about who was "the cleverest one in the van" and why we weren't playing the songs right for him after he'd sunk 9 pints and made a total shambles of the show. Comments like "I could have an out-of-tune Salvation Army Band playing behind me and they'd clap" didn't go down very well with the rest of the troops. I've taken the guitarist with me. He'd had enough, too. Once on the way back from Blackpool, for the most placid bloke I know, he excelled himself by offering to stop the van and paste the halfwit singer all over the M6. I was in the back, as I was hopping mad about the show. Shame I missed that.

Since I joined the band, there have been 5 drummers involved. Says a lot. The man's a total fuckwit. He's been there since 1980 and the band name is his. It's cursed, though.

Sorry to hear it. I was once in a band with an insane drummer. Things got so bad that he was dumped out of the van on the way back from a gig in Plymouth once. You don't need ot spend that amount of time with insane bastards. Good luck with finding something new.

Sounds like a nightmare!!!.Good luck with finding a new gig. It can't be easy finding musicians to play with who aren't complete tossers. I know that is why I packed it all in!!!

The singer's latest stunt so he can get pissed at shows is to hire a roadie to drive the van
(None of the band will do it). Unfortunately for the other members, they are paying a quarter
each for this privilege. Don't know if they know yet.

They have dumped a show at a motorcycle rally on Sept 10th as they realise they aren't going to
survive if they turn up and play like the shambles they currently are. £600 lost. Ooops.

I have taken the guitarist from Night Train with me and after an excellent rehearsal tonight with
the full new band, including a new drummer, I'm sticking with it.
