We'll have a drinking game. Everyone takes a shot every time Dave mentions 'his gig.'

Re: L.A Saturday May 4th
OK guys, I am really sorry about this. I've been at home cleaning all day, and would have enjoyed having a beer instead! I just haven't been on BCB much lately and totally missed that this was coming up -- though I knew about it back in March/April and was looking forward to it. I'm very sorry.

Wow! that's 10 minutes by taxi and 3 hours 50 minutes spend talking to Homeland Security.

Well it seems organising an L.A jolly is a bit like herding sheep. You go off to round up the stray and one of the other buggers escapes.
A great day Saturday ending up with trip to see Dave's band. A three accordion ine up at one point might be considered one (or two) too many by some (indeed some may argue three too many), but I thoroghly enjoyed it, especally the rousing version of Galway Girl.
Earlier battle lines were drawn on the musical discussion front with Tom and myself agreeing on the White Album (overrated) and Peter Green (underrated) and Dave and myself agreeing on Dark SIde of The Moon (overrated). I'm sure I must have agreed with Matt on somethng (but has anyone, ever? )
Managed 5 trips to Amoeba, and spent $600
Here's to next time (2021?) and a full turnout.

For the record White Album gem and Peter Green just good. Dark side of the moon overrated for Pink Floyd but still great!
Also spent 5 days in LA and only went to Amoeba once and bought nothing.
Nice meet up in LA - NIce to Meet Tom, Dave and Matt all wonderful chaps.
Went with Paul to see Dave's birthday jam. Turned into a major jam session. really enjoyed John Barleycorn.
