4 or 5?

Great! Let's say 4:00 pm (unless there is any objection). Can't wait!

Wait, this is TODAY, like, as in now?

Fudge, I got call in to work - and my kid is sick (allergic reaction that looks like chicken pox, but is allegedly not). Sincere regrets!

Well, that is the most original excuse for missing one if these I've ever heard. Gotta give you credit! :D

No problem -- we're having fun...!

Wow. what a great night. I've been here since Tuesday but told Jim to keep it under his hat with the intention of surprising Rita which worked a treat. The conversation when I arrived was

Rita: Noooo
Me: Yes
Rita: Noooo
Me: Yes
and so on.

Fantastic to catch up with Rita (It's been too long) and great to meet Qube and Hightea

Damn, you're getting good at this showing up by surprise! Sorry I missed you in LA, but this is giving me hope you'll show up somewhere I am soon enough...

One should add that those noes were of disbelief, not denial. She was happy.

I could have done without a couple of those drinks as I'm hurting a bit now. Thank you to all of you for coming -- Emily (lady qube, long suffering ... but I think she enjoyed it by the end) and Heidi (swooping in near the end and, I think, suggesting the sake bar that i really shouldn't have gone to)

It was a great night.

As I was the only one who voted for Exile On Main Street, clearly the results are meaningless.

 So wasn't Beggars Banquet the clear winner. Believe we all said that one.

Nice to meet you all,

Noooooo!!!

That was a great surprise!

It was great seeing eveyone. I'm so glad Heidi made it in the end. I can't believe how great she looked after working all day! Really nice to meet Lady Qube who was a lot of fun.

I can't say I regret missing the sake bar, though I do like that place!

I think we all agreed it was good and among our top six Stones albums -- kind of like their Topographic Oceans then!

Hahahaha I wanted to see the look everyone would give me if I put forward Bridges to Babylon but held off...

It was an excellent night, so great to see everyone. The drinking was kept to a good pace and we definitely ate at the right time (although Quaco's attempts at finding another bar to fill the ten minute wait for Veselka proved unfruitful haha), another drink or two at Blue and Gold and my head may have been a little fuzzy this morning :)
