Definitely in the same ball park.

See also :- Bread, Nana Mouskouri, Baccarat, S&G and the Beatles.

Actually Demis and Nana are the only two I wouldn't cock an ear to, "Yes Sir! I can Boogie" and "Black is Black" are very under rated.

These things tend to skip a generation. My parents had Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin records, which is why I listen to Mike Oldfield and Demis Roussos now!

No, it's something I might dig out very occasionally, but the main theme is very similar to young kids TV program, Button Moon.

Good write up Ray.

I saw the Incantations tour on London’s South Bank, must have been 78 or 79. It was magnificent. One of the most enjoyable concerts I’d seen.

I’d forgotten he put out the Exposed live album, which incidentally is not on Spotify, although there are dozens of his studio albums and multiple compilations. I must see if I can find a vinyl copy.

I did buy Guitars, but it was poor, and hoped Millenium Bell would be good. It wasn’t.

He did have a bit of a renaissance when he played at the thrilling opening of the London Olympics, but failed to capitalise on the opportunity.

They are both poor but the next two Tr3s Lunas and Light & Shade are even worse, the sounds of a man bored with making music.
