It's always a pleasure to see Coltrane, and i enjoyed A's first 8 in general, but there's no going around the fact that B's more my thing.

Really liked the Mark Fry song - I'd not heard that before.

A tries to be a bit eclectic, but I just didn't feel any of the selections. B is rooted in something a bit more BCB, but it wins through the singularity of its aesthetic.[/graham-dixon]

THe obvious greatness of Guthrie and Coltrane in A is weighed down by a whole lot of meh and a couple of out and out stinkers. A good new 3 from B keeps it bubbling along
