I know they were supposed to be very clever but XTC do nothing for me. In fact, having tried their albums on a number of occasions, and having listened closely to this, I think I should admit that I just don’t like them.

B is much more my thing, not great but at least the notes appear to be in the right order.

I'll take that as a complement for XTC. This track fits the prog broad church def. Wow never thought I would say that about an XTC song. :lol:

B- is a wonderful PH song but I'll take the surprising XTC song (note I know the song and Album)

A

is an absolute masterpiece in my book and I would have thought it would make the cut easily here .

I should like that XTC-track more than I do on listening to it now, I have the album and it's good but for some reason I'm just not hung on it..
Procol offers a bit more meat on the bone so...

Whoo-hoo - that was a close one!

I almost voted against myself here - I love that XTC track.

Very brave to pick it, Mr. Boom - I don't know why they're so gosh-darned underrated here.
