I wasn't very keen on A - sorry.
B was more my thing and held my attention. It developed nicely.
A very pleasant voice
So, B has it

This is the finals?
OK, I get the urge to include SOME folks born after the 70s, but THESE guys? No, you are not Dylan - either of you. You're not even Eric Andersen. You're not even Louie Anderson.
B, I guess, mainly because it's shorter.

A's surprisingly good, he comes across as a melding of Devendra Banhart and Dylan, but with a more powerful voice than either, and a real feel for finger-picked folk guitar. A lovely thing indeed, one of the nicer things I've heard in this cup. I'm definitely going to check more of this out, if he's as musically varied as Banhart, therecould be something special lurking here.
B's surprisingly lovely, too. Thank God some people aren't deaf to modernity. One of the few tracks in this cup to feature vocal harmonies which really work. It's a pity these were drawn together, because they could have won many a tie. Well played both.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Good match. As Fishy says, it's a shame they had to meet here. I thought i was going to vote for A, but i after listening to B twice the vocals get it the win.

Both acts new to me, and both pleasant.
I get the Banhart references for A, but I think its better then him.
B - very pleasant vocal, very mellow. I must check Joan Shelley more.

Same here, I do like A, got one of the guy's records and enjoy it, but the unfamiliar B is a really nice find, cheers to whoever.
