Exotic round, nice! Like these both, actually. B might benefit from a translation, but without it just seems the slighter of the two. A translates more instinctively, and is fun.

You know, like the Sharon Shannon one of mine that everyone hated.

A: Played at the correct speed it might be alright.
B: This one wasn't painful.

Two unknowns to me

Värttinä [is that the lead singer or the band? irritated the hell out me within 20 seconds - the singer if the former

Nice button accordion though

Onto B:

Bland - nice acoustic but somewhat tedious to my old ears

[ah, hang on a minute a bit of whispy flute a la Thijs - no that didn't help me vote for it]

Bloody foreigners - still at least it wasn't Trini Lopez

So, for the button accordion

A has it

A has it

Well, that was both unexpected and unpleasant. I'd love to know what we've done to A for them to inflict that upon us.

B's not really my kind of thing, thought the guitar isn't bad, and the vocal is quite plaintive. It isn't A, so it wins.

Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

A was, indeed, fun.

Apologies to Mr Hatz for not coming to this competition earlier, I like me some Sharon Shannon and might well have voted for her - who was she up against?

A is kind of over the top but has some folky charm. B is lovely all the way through though, a beautiful folk sound.

A was like the BABYMETAL of folk but not nearly as good.

B was a decent enough track, some nice guitar, vocals and Focus-like flute. Does enough for the vote

A is mad! - reminds me of the Warsaw Village Orchestra (which is a good thing). B sounds like the soundtrack from some awful 70's movie, not helped by the production - stripped down there might be an interesting song there, Not that it would beat A.
