Cool, more hippie shite!

A because it sounds like Neil Young's on it.

EDIT - I researched. He is!!

'A' is new to me. A bit all over the place but I enjoyed the fragility of the females vocals.

Some nice guitar although the tubs were a bit of a bash.

Ok but not great

Let's see what 'B' brings...

I am bored after 23 seconds. Sounds a bit bland to me. Sorry selector. [I did play the track through though]

Not to keen on either but A has it

A has it

Track A is okay, but I loves me some Susan Christie.

Both of these tracks suffered from unpleasant bashy drums as Carlsson described it. I wanted to like both more than I did but found them a little pedestrian.

Hmm, not that convinced by track A, the electric guitar is horrible, the vocals aren't good, and the drummer should be put out of my misery. Did he overdose on mogadon or something?

B seems a much more accessible way of doing a hippie folk track, the drums aren't quite as poor, the vocals are much more pleasant, and the track as a whole feels more like a ray of morning sunshine. Was the album really called "Paintalads"? What's that meant to be?

B
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

Both of these are OK, but A is a bit more out there and gets the vote

There's a certain clumsiness in both that is not without charm (extremely weak drumming notwithstanding).

Slight advantage for A who has a more pleasant voice and a prettier melody.

Neither particularly folky, nor particularly memorable, to my ears, and both with clunky arrangements. B, just about

Two interesting choices. Think I'll have a listen to both these albums...
