A is pretty in a gothy way during its more reflective periods, but the noisier bits are dull and hackneyed.
B is rather ordinary especially considering the artist.

Both are OK but neither really makes me want to vote.

I’m expecting a lot of Swans tracks from the new EPRA in this Cup. It was okay in a doomy way but nothing I’d want to hear again. I remember being hugely disappointed by that Q-Tip solo record, a wrong he’s subsequently put right. But, yeah, this is pretty cliched stuff. Still, it’s Q-Tip.

Not that I'm in a hurry to buy the complete Swans backcatalogue, but I really enjoyed

And I do hope there will be a hip hop track at some point I can wholeheartedly adhere to.

A - Can't claim to have heard a lot of Swans, although I did have the Raping a Slave EP and even played it a couple of times. They have an agreeably thick sound, but I find the dirgey pace wearing, and Gira's moans pall after a while. Lasted three minutes. 3.5 / 10
B – Never heard this act before, probably never will again, at least not voluntarily. All seemed very formulaic 3.5 / 10

pity vote for B

I liked them both, and although B wins this matchup, I think I need to investigate some Swans gear.
