Their best cover
Unless it is Brand New Cadillac or Wrong em Boyo or Police and Thieves or Should I stay or Should I go.

Nah, it is Police on my back isn't it?

No, it's probably "Brand New Cadillac." And SISoSIG is an original (and not a very good one).

No matter, Any of them is superior to another pointless Nazareth cover. There is anachronistic and then there is playing a song for an audience that has no interest in it. It might as well have been "Wiggle Wiggle."

I quite like The Equals original, though it doesn't sound much different from "Baby Come Back" due to the same drum line. This isn't a good cover, it doesn't do anything but retread the original and lose Eddy Grant's Jamaican lilt.

Now, I don't approve of Nazareth, or anything they've done. But at least they're trying to do something different with the source material, turning it into a Black Sabbath song. Not sure I'm going to sit through 9 minutes of a great track being rockified though. But it feels like this is losing just because it's Nazareth, rather than the other track having any reason to exist.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

A is of course a clear winner here, though it's not one of the Clash's best moments by a long shot, and I'm also tempted to penalise it for having one of those out-of-context scattershot anti-police videos which do nobody at all any favours.

The only thing remarkable about B is that two people would pick Nazareth songs for this competition. The mind boggles.

a - thank god this wasn't one of their reggae efforts. Didn't know it was a cover, but never cared much for the Equals anyway. It's all right, I suppose 5 / 10
b - Nah, sorry. Can't get through it.

A by default. Copehead got lucky

I'm picking the one with lots of feedback, of course.

B.
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?
