Weird lists, these. Some good things scattered around, but some very strange picks too. That's a rubbish Floyd effort, A, and 'Peanut Duck' when you already have the much more fun 'Tequila'?
B is simply all over the shop, and Christine and the Queens are here again despite their disastrous appearance last time. A strong second half wins this for A.

Incidentally, I like the Heaven 17 song more than the Human League one - is it the song name or the link that's wrong?

After the nonagenarian narcolepsy of match 1, being greeted with a Pink Floyd track and fucking "Tequila" isn't exactly what I was hoping for. Pity you didn't pick "Hamburger Lady", rather than "Hamburger Midnight". Yay, first decent track of the cup, that Stereolab track is quite pleasant. What a relief.

Are we voting for Human League or Heaven 17? Wasn't that Public Enemy track in the 2016 cup, too? Are there more questions than decent songs? Where's Loki when you need her?

I think I'm going for A, forgetting the opening abominations, and purely for Stereolab and Massive Attack.
Like fast-moving clouds casting shadows against a hillside, the melody-loop shuddered with a sense of the sublime, the awful unknowable majesty of the world.

:)

I think the PE cut was in the MOBO.

And for once I agree with you - Massive Attack and Stereolab are worth voting for.

Both have hits and misses.
I'm going with A, despite B's NIN pick.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

What a shame these two are up together. I especially like the first few tracks of A's list, the Feat most of all.

But I'm going to plump for the list that is more predictably my thing. And most especially of all because of the Christine & The Queens track, which I love, love, love - for her light pop touch, and for everything else that goes on beneath that. I have a considerable crush on Heloise. I think she's marvellous.
