Oops, the list for A was actually correct - I just had the heading in the wrong place.
Thanks for the heads-up, Matty, it's now corrected.

Re: BCB Cup 2013 - Round 3 - Match 3
Good lists.
A!
edges it (and I'll overlook that dreadful Propellerheads thing)

Okay, I've just youtubed Echo & the Bunnymen for the first time ever, my worst fears were confirmed. Anyway, the rest of A is so strong, it's one I'd like to see go all the way. Nice work!

B is a behemoth
Deploying PWEI is genius and the Grimes song is a modern classic, Accients and Make Up are nice touches
Well done B this looks like the best list left by a mile

Two superb lists.
I'll have to come back to this tonight when I have more time.

'The Cutter' is an absolutely epic track. As good an example of neo-psychedelia as you can get.

You are addressing a man who is interested in obtaining the 'full run' of Searchers LPs.

B, just. Nice to see Oblivion pop up. I thought it might be one of the handful of last years tracks to appear in the cup.

And brags about his Helen Shapiro collection

A is one of my fave lists left (even with the awful Propellerheads). B is fine but A is dandy.

A Lee Morgan's trumpet playing on Tunisia is a force of nature (as is Blakey's destruction of his drum kit) and I like damn near everything else there. B is good, it shouldn't have beat my list, but it's not good enough to take down the best list left. Viva la Jazz!

Now this IS tough. I'll go with A with sincere apologies to the other list. Wish I could vote for both of y'all.
Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D
Re: BCB Cup 2013 - Round 3 - Match 3
In an effort to separate these two I'm going to try the Matty RD/Copehead emoticon ranking system.

It's not such a bad track really, but its a bit of a tired selection.
Blondie - Heart of Glass link

Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Gregory Porter - 1960 What? link
New for me and I thought it was really terrific

The Zombies - This Will Be Our Year link
The Rolling Stones - Can't You Hear Me Knocking link
John Barry - Beat For Beatniks link

I'm not sure Matty and Cophead's emoticon method has helped me much here -Fuck you Copehead and Matty!
Two really enjoyable lists and both have an invitation to dj at my party (I'll have one one day!) any time they like. My gut instinct is telling me B because of its moments of real inspiration, although A wins the battle of the new fives.
