Links should be done like this : link
To do it:
1. you just type [url=
2. then paste the link so it says [url=http://www.whateverthefuckmylinkis.com
3. then you add a closing ]
4. next just type the word "link" with a space in front of it to preserve the proper margins
5. then type /url inside a set of [ ] to finish it off.
Et voilla....link

Martha posted some instructions on the sign-up thread. These seem quite straightforward:

Cheers - fiddled about and hopefully worked that out for myself just before you posted. Should be with you now.
Maybe helps to know the whole url link is needed and not just the youtube v= tag.

More lists arrived overnight, including Mike Boom's latest selections - by my reckoning, only 15 lists are outstanding, so come on everyone!

Are you waiting until all lists are in before starting rounds, or going to start regardless?

I sent them with and without links (in case I fucked the links up). They really shouldn't be necessary though as the ten tunes are really the universally top ten songs in the estimation of 85% of the global population. Using verifiable statistics this year.

An observation: Are youtube/video links discriminatory?
We are assuming that every track is available as a video link - aren't we...?
Some of us may choose to select a track that is video-less.
Subsequently, at as disadvantage as those not familiar would not be able to relish in the said track's delight.
Elf in a Teapot by Brewers Droop is one fine example
I hope my chances aren't being jeopardised....?
Andrew lad, please put my mind at rest

I doubt there's much advantage to be had with a snazzy video, as Youtube contains lo-quality images that are smaller than the average postcard.
However, I'm still waiting for 13 lists. Please hurry up.

I selected a song that I couldn't find an acceptable youtube link to so I picked another by the same artist.
It bothered me at first but then I realized these are the times we live in.

The title on it's own would get my vote C. Actually hearing it would just destroy the magic.

Of course, you could always just choose to not hit the link.

Of course. No one has said you have to use links.

Sure, Geraint. I've had quite a few more since then, and the ones who are still outstanding are:
toomanyhatz
martha
TRGP
Corporate Whore (who has PM'd me to say a list is on its way)
dang65
Bad Ambassador
Buddha B-Rex
Not many now!
I've been out tonight (in Kettering!) so I've haven't been able to keep a close eye on events here, but I will vote tomorrow night.
