Of course. We all post exactly the same 'joke' on two consecutive days. All of us. Every last one. Including you, no doubt.

Trump Wax Figure Moved In Texas Because People Kept Punching It In The Face

https://www.huffingtonpost.ca/entry/tru ... ri18n=true

The figure at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio had "deep" scratches after repeated attacks by visitors.

A wax figure of former President Donald Trump was removed from display at Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks in San Antonio, Texas, because customers kept punching and scratching it.

“We’ve always had trouble with the presidential section because no matter what president it was — Bush, Obama or Trump — they’ve all had people beat them,” Clay Stewart, regional manager for Ripley Entertainment, told the San Antonio Express-News. Ripley’s owns the Waxworks.

Stewart told the newspaper that the Trump figure was beaten badly enough to leave deep marks on its waxy face, necessitating its move to storage.

Having a burger at McDonald's and I spied two elderly gal pals enter the shop. Out for a stroll, maybe in their late 70s early 80s, they were both slow movers, kind of hanging on to one another as they walked but the thing was how they were dressed. One looked fine and appropriate wearing this batik Japanese dashiki kind of outfit but the other lady was wearing tight blue jeans and a motorcycle jacket with all the zippers and buckles. I had to laugh because I myself was looking at motorcycle jackets recently. Will never see those jackets in the same way again.
Question authority.

In the John Cooper Clarke book, he mentioned that when he was on tour with Joy Division in Europe they bombed at one show and he later heard that the audience had heard their name read out as ‘Geordie Vision’

Came across these browsing through Youtube. A reminder of the comic genius of Bob Newhart. Neither clip has a "joke" as such. I#ts all about delivery and reaction, which true comedy talent from WC Fields to Peter Sellers to Steve Coogan has always known, and the gurning overacting hamfest of the likes of Murphy, Ferrell and Carey never will.
