This is terrible, terrible news & I'm deeply shocked.

We'd exchanged numerous CDs & PMs but only met once at the BOSH jolly-up. He was a lovely bloke & great company.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family at this difficult time.

Shocking, terrible news. It seems like only the other day when we were chatting about Arsenal in the pub, he was a genuinely warm and friendly guy.
My heart goes out to his family.

I emailed you Sam at that address on Friday morning to ask about how to donate via Paypal, but don't seem to have had a reply. I probably did something wrong somewhere, so I'll PM it.

I remember a few posts from Stu. Sad to lose one of us. Condolences to his family and to those among you who knew him well.

That goes for me too.

We're a small community but you don't have close relationships with everyone but this is terribly sad news for all of us and a tragedy for his friends and family.

Man, this is sad news. I never met him, only chatted by PM (a bit). My heart goes out to his loved ones.

Jane (Sensi) let me know this very sad news by text when I was in France. Like many others, I didn't really know Stu, but this is still very sad.

My thoughts and condolences to his family and friends.

Terrible news is all I can say.

Is this the first (we know of) of the family to go?

RIP Stu, far too young.

Very sad news.

I met him once at a London JU - a very nice, friendly man.

My sincere condolences to his family

Yes, I remember that. Jeez... as you say it puts the silly gripes of everyday life into perspective for sure.

Very sad.

Sorry for coming in late...

I'm shocked. We met in Richmond before Christmas, and shared a drink or three. He was a lovely bloke, a talented cricketer - good enough to play professionally - and had a huge enthusiasm for music. He'll be missed.

My condolences to his family.

Pip pip!

(not that i'd know how to do that)

If you want to give something on Saturday, that would be splendid. I've written Caroline a cheque for £300 (so far the Paypal is at about £250) and I'll get flowers and stuff with what remains.

How do I send by Paypal?

You'll need to set up a Paypal account (if you haven't already got one) at http://www.paypal.com . You can link it to a debit or credit card.

Then you enter the e-mail address of the person to whom you want to transfer the money (which Sam posted a page or two back) and enter the amount.

My daughter has an account. I'll get her to do it for me.

Duncan just told me what happened, my thoughts and prayers go to his family.

His wife was very kind to take the time to let us know about his passing, I´ve often wondered what would happen if one of us passed away, I know that when I was in Virginia, no one there would have had the BCB address or known my log in info or even who to call (Andy or Duncan) if something had happened to me.
