Poor Kath and Reap. I can't begin to imagine their pain. I read Reap's post on Facebook and it literally knocked the breath from me. I'm still in a daze, how in God's name are they going to cope with this?
My heart goes out to them.

I'm just stunned & shocked & dazed. My heart goes out to both of them and the rest of their family.

I'm not friends with either on F/b, but obviously something very bad has happened.
For the benefit of those of us that aren't friends with them on F/b, can someone please briefly say what's happened (or PM me) ?

Hello everyone, this is Reap. I have very bad news, we've had a death in the family. Our beloved daughter Elizabeth died last Friday in New Orleans from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. We consider ourselves blessed to have had the time we got with her. Kath gave Elizabeth the most wonderful, loving, moving, uplifting tribute speech at the memorial service this afternoon. I have never been more proud of Kath. And that's saying something.
We are of course devastated to have lost her, but are comforted that she is in a better place. Please understand that Kath and I need total privacy at this time. If you would like to do something, please hug your children and tell them that you love them and enjoy the time you'll be spending with them over the holidays. Kath will be back in touch soon, but right now we need some family time to ourselves. Thanks for understanding.
It is absolutely horrible news. I hope they can gather the strength from somewhere, and get as much support as they need.

Awful, just awful. A talented artist as I recall. Kath was so proud of her whenever she posted about Erin.
How do you ever get over something like this? I can't begin to imagine.
