9 pm every Tuesday from 16/6
In addition to AF featured great scripts from Ketih Waterhouse and Willis Hall
plus sterling support from the great Iain Cuthbertson as Charlie Endell
Have fond memories of this show. Hope that the reruns aren't too clunky

Searching for my bomber jacket at this very moment. If my hair was longer (and the barbers were open ), I'd be asking for a Budgie cut. Saw an episode on YouTube the other year and it was VERY clunky. What the hell, roll on Tuesday

Given their track record in getting stuff like Public Eye and Callan (both excellent), would imagine they could easily get their hands on the 17 (out of 29) eps that still exist - not sure what the broadcast quality would be. Wonder if the show would have done better if they'd chucked more money at it (a la the Avengers) or it had carried on into the colour era. Hope that Mike Myers who basically filched the plot of AA as the basis for Austin Powers at least gives the show its due in interviews.
If you're interetted in this sort of stuff, google or you tube "missing believed wiped"
On a side note, I once worked with GH (still with us at age 91) in Bahrain in the mid-80s. He was in town doing dinner theatre and I needed a voice over for a commercial which he happily came in and did. Unlike several other "name' actors I worked with later on, he was a genuinely lovely bloke and seemed very pleased when I said I used to adore watching AA when I was a kid.
