A great character, and he played him skillfully. It can't have been easy, though, for someone that young to then go the rest of his life being forever identified with that two-faced obsequious jerk.

Then again, he ended up a cop, which one could easily imagine Eddie Haskell doing.

I was surprised to learn that the sequel series ran so long. Through most of the 80's, from '83 through '89! I only remember seeing one or two episodes. Pretty sure I watched every episode of the original "Leave it to Beaver."
Where would rock 'n' roll be without feedback?

Doubt if LITB ever got shown widely - or for very long - in the UK, but remember watching the afternoon reruns avidly whenever my oder self visited relatives in Canada. would imagine it's one of those TV shows that the kids who are lucky enough not to have to hit the corners and sell crack still watch when they get home from school.
