While there was a thread about five years ago, I only got around to watching this earlier last week and am about halfway through season 1. What a superb programme it is. Any other fans out there and are seasons 2 and 3 as good?

I've only watched a part of Season 2 and it doesn't compare to the first one.

I have yet to watch season iii. May skip it altogether, because three box sets in total is a major expense.
