It isn't nearly as rude as Spurtacus, as I like to call it. :)

Really looking forward to season 2, it starts in April on my Murdoch box.

Finally got to see the first 2 episodes tonight. Impressive. I had a couple of very minor niggles, but was pleased at how close to the books it is.

Finished season 1 today and liked it pretty much. Kind of wish I'd watched the show before reading the book though. Loses something when you know what's going to happen.
It, the show, was good, but not that jazzed with most of the actors excepting Ayra, Tyrion and the chick who plays Daenerys is OK I guess. King Robert and Tywin maybe.
The rest don't really match up to my idea of the characters as I read the books.
Still not bad, look forward to seeing season 2 once it comes out on DVD a year or two down the road.

After a very slow opener, Season 2 suddenly kicked off.

Yes,pretty good, though I do get sick of all the shagging. Unfortunately I idly glanced at one of the later books in Waterstone's yesterday, so have found out what happens to a couple of people.

Now that I've had a chance to watch this more, I've really gotten into this show. I hope that Cersei survives this season. I like her.

I'm yet to watch episode 5 of season 2 but I'm enjoying it all hugely so far. Tremendously entertaining nonsense done, as it should be, with a straight face. There's some top acting in it, too.

15 minutes until tonight's episode! The night is dark and full of terrors.

I am about a third through the audio version of the second book, A Clash of Kings. Now I can see the "throne game" is really afoot. There are many more contenders than in book one.
I don't know exactly what the truth is, but the official version is definitely not it. (NYT letter writer)

Lady N and me just finished watching Season 1.

Really well done and beautifully cast, I must say. In fact I find it hard to find any fault, even more so with the new 'characters' that appeared at the very end... ;)

But as no TV channel available to me is likely to show it anytime soon, I'll probably have to wait until next spring and the release of Season 2 on DVD box to know what happens next.

Yeah, I know I could start reading the books, but that would take away part of the pleasure...
