I know numbers have been dwindling the last few years, but i'd be surprised if there weren't at least 48 people keen to play again this year.


Most lists have links for almost all the songs these days... but that can make the time needed to listen to lists properly more difficult. It's a problem for many, and not a new one - part of the reason why the lists were made shorter last BCB Cup (8 songs to start, with additions of 3 songs afterwards).

I'm up for anything most of the time.

I personally wouldn't be adverse to the BCB Cup being rested for a year to explore a couple of these song v song scenarios. I'd personally prefer a 90's or a 21st century cup though, you'd need a nuclear powered backhoe to dig out a deep enough 70s cut to satisfy people here.
