SERVER CRASH.

Postby JQW » 24 Aug 2011, 15:01

We had a major power failure at our hosting provider earlier today, which knocked out a lot of equipment. Everything is back up and running again.

Unfortunately this meant that things didn't shutdown cleanly, and we suffered some database damage during the process.

The most noticeable issue at the moment is that Nextdoorland has vanished from the list of forums, although we could also have some other damage. The posts are still there, it's just the container for them that's missing.

I will try to get it back by one means or another later, sometime after about 7pm UK time.

Let U be the set of all united sets, K be the set of the kids and D be the set of things divided.
Then it follows that ∀ k ∈ K: K ∈ U ⇒ k ∉ D

I appreciate the effort JQ.

Jimbo starts a 9/11 thread and, within an hour or so, the whole section disappears?

Come on, that's just too much of a coincidence....

Right, I think I've fixed it.

Unread post markers and the like may be broken, and any URL you've saved pointing to the forum won't work, but all else should be fine.

I did notice the 'Libya' thread seems to have disappeared. Not sure if other threads have also gone.

It's 5 minutes into the future - could we get a betting scam going?
